About Dr. Javed
Born and raised in sunny San Diego, Dr. Yasmin Javed attended San Diego State University where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Herbert Wertheim School of School of Optometry & Vision Science and then completed her residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy/Rehab at Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Javed is excited to be providing care at her alma mater, helping patients in the Infant/Toddler and Binocular Vision Clinics achieve their optimal vision. Outside of optometry, Dr. Javed enjoys the beach, all flavors of ice cream, and going to the movies.
