Tom Michelsen

Thomas “Tom” Michelsen first joined Berkeley Optometry in 2006 as a front desk staff member in our clinic and went on to spend 11 years with the school, later serving as the Clinic Admin Office Manager and Facilities Coordinator for Minor Addition. After several years away, he’s happy to be back in the Bay Area and in a new role as A/V Education & Technology Specialist, supporting classroom and clinic technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Fun fact: outside of work, Tom is a professional actor! When he’s not at work or on set, he loves hanging out with friends and family, and nerding out about all things Star Wars and Marvel.
