Dr. Mark Wu is an optometrist who specializes in both the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and binocular vision deficits. He has a distinctive interest and knowledge of various neuro-ophthalmic disorders and traumatic brain injury related visual processing difficulties. He also spends a significant amount of his professional time in underserved community clinics as a primary care optometrist. Lastly, Dr. Wu participates in an internet-based telemedicine screening program that allows him to detect potentially sight-threatening diabetic retinopathy and other ocular conditions in various community hospitals across California. When Dr. Wu is not busy advocating for traumatic brain injury or pediatric patients, he loves to spend his time improving his chess game and exploring new restaurants in the Bay Area.
