Katherine Lai, O.D., F.A.A.O. is an optometrist with residency training in neuro-optometry, brain injury rehabilitation, and binocular vision (strabismus/double vision/amblyopia). Dr. Lai’s training included evaluating and treating patients with visual problems due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurological diseases. She has presented posters and various presentations on vision rehabilitation. Her goal is to spread the knowledge about vision rehabilitation and how she can help patients with a history of stroke, concussion, and other brain injuries. Dr. Lai has co-managed patients with various healthcare professionals throughout her career and believes a multi-disciplinary approach to managing patients is crucial for these patients.
Dr. Lai received her Doctorate in Optometry at Berkeley Optometry, UC Berkeley and completed her residency training in New York at SUNY school of Optometry.
