About Dr. Oost
Dr. Cade Oost was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended the Southern California College of Optometry, where he received his OD degree as well as a Masters’ in Vision Science for his research on cone function in patients with retinitis pigmentosa.
Dr. Oost is passionate about meeting the nuanced needs of his low vision patients and is honored to be joining the Berkeley family for his residency year. In his free time, Dr. Oost enjoys reading and hiking, and he hopes to one day visit every National Park in the US!
