The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science participated in UC Berkeley’s 2026 Cal Day, welcoming newly admitted students and their families to campus alongside departments and programs across the university. Representatives from the School of Optometry & Vision Science shared information about our clinics, including the availability of $10 eye exams for students with SHIP insurance, and invited visitors to engage with an eye chart activity that sparked curiosity and conversation. The event offered a valuable opportunity to introduce future Opto-Bears to our clinical services and the role our school plays in supporting vision care across campus and the greater community.
