Representing Berkeley at the Glaucoma Research Foundation’s patient-centered conference in San Francisco.

The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science was well represented at the 8th Annual Glaucoma Research Foundation Patient Summit in San Francisco this June. This patient centered conference highlights advances in treatment options and practical information to help patients understand and live with glaucoma. Summit speakers include leading specialists in integrated glaucoma care, patients, and caregivers.

Invited Berkeley speakers were: Drs. Sandra Harpster (c/o 2017) and Marlena Chu (c/o 2008). Berkeley faculty and students who tabled at the event for both days included: Dr. Liz Pearce, Dr. Rachel Harmon (c/o 2026), Class of 2027 members Michelle Hoang, Katherine Zhao and Class of 2029 members Andrew Cheng, Hojun Hwang, Harjot Kaur, Angeles Ramirez, Samantha Scotchlas, Kieran Yan.
