The Berkeley Optometry Class of 2022 thanks you.
The Berkeley Optometry Class of 2022 wants to extend their gratitude for all of your efforts and contributions to our group donation to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI).
Not only did they exceed their original goal of $9,000, but they raised $12,674.17.
Every dollar from this donation was matched resulting in a grand total of $25,348.34!
This would not be possible without the support of the members and loved ones of our optometry community. We are all grateful to be part of such a strong community that is hungry for justice and change.
About EJI
Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) challenges racial and economic injustice, provides legal representation to prisoners who may have been wrongly convicted of crimes, and protects basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. Founded by celebrated civil rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson, EJI works to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment, stop the prosecution of children as adults, aid the mentally ill in the criminal justice system, confront the history of racial inequality in America and provide free legal services to the poor, incarcerated and condemned.
