The residency program at Berkeley Optometry admits the best qualified post-graduate optometrists and provides them with advanced clinical education and concentrated clinical experience in specialty areas of optometry. Our residents encounter many interesting cases during their year of specialized study.

The 2025 Resident Forum features online grand round presentations by residents from the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science, University of California, San Francisco, the San Francisco VA, Palo Alto VA, Reno VA, and Fresno VA. The Resident Forum 2025 will be offered as a live online webinar on Zoom, allowing attendees to interact with the speakers and ask questions in real-time.
