Fall CE Series
Join Berkeley for a special weekend of lifelong learning September 18–19, 2026. Our Fall CE programming will feature courses designed for practicing optometrists and vision care professionals, including Alumni Grand Rounds and the Golden Conference.The weekend begins on Friday, September 18, with Alumni Grand Rounds from 6:00–8:00 PM PT, chaired by Dr. Chris Wilmer. Saturday morning will feature two CE sessions, including “Debunking Retina Myths” with Dr. Caesar Luo and “Stellest Lenses for Myopia Control: An Update” with Dr. Elise Harb.

Golden Conference
On Sunday, September 20, join us for the 2026 Sheldon M. Golden Conference, focused on Myopia and Myopia Control. The Golden Conference is a one-day, online continuing education event. This year’s conference will be co-chaired by Dr. Maria Lu, Dr. Elise Harb, and Dr. Sarah Singh. Hear from expert speakers, take part in timely discussions, and earn CE credits.Event Details

The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science offers live, interactive online CE courses (synchronous virtual), live in-person CE programs, and on-demand online (asynchronous virtual) CE courses.

Participants need to install the free Zoom application in order to view our Online CE. You do not need a Zoom account, but you do have to use the Zoom app to join as a participant.
Download ZoomNOTE: If you are a UC Berkeley student, resident, or faculty member with a @berkeley.edu email address, you will need to create a new Canvas account or sign in with a previously created account when you enroll. Even though it is a Canvas site, this is a different site than bCourses! The bCourses site is not accessible to external users and cannot be used for CE courses that are open to public registration. You can use you @berkeley.edu email account to sign up for a CE course, but you will be prompted to create and verify a new account when you register. Once created, you can use this account to register for any CE course on the site.”]
