Two campus leaders at the new emeryville clinic.
For a tour of the new clinic.

On February 23, we welcomed Vice Chancellor for Administration Marc Fisher and Assistant Vice Chancellor / Campus Architect Wendy Hillis to the Emeryville Clinic for a tour and discussion of the school’s expanding clinical initiatives. They were joined by architects Alyosha Verzhbinsky and Justin Blinn (TEF Design), Dr. Chris Wilmer, Nicholas Morisco (Capital Projects), and Elaine Coleman (Project Manager).

The group explored the clinic’s spaces, discussing the growth of specialty services, our commitment to community-centered eye care, and the clinic’s role in supporting patient care and clinical education. Alyosha Verzhbinsky guided the tour, sharing the vision behind the clinic’s design and programmatic flow.

Dr. Chris Wilmer also highlighted the clinic’s emphasis on children’s vision, expanded specialty care, and its model of comprehensive family eye care. We are grateful for the continued engagement and partnership supporting the evolution of our clinical programs!
