Berkeley Optometry continues to garner awards and accolades. We’d like to congratulate Dr. Katherine Lai and Dean John Flanagan for being selected as the ACCCOS Young OD of the Year, and OD of the Year, respectively. Dr. Lai has also been named chapter president! Dr. Lai is a residency-trained neuro-optometrist, and currently sees patients and supervises students in Berkeley Optometry’s Binocular Vision clinic and Sports Vision and Concussion clinic. In other good news, Dean Flanagan has been appointed to the board of directors for Optometry Giving Sight, whose mission is to meet both the immediate and long-term needs of communities without access to eye care by focusing efforts on training, establishing vision centers and optometry schools, and delivering eye care services. Congrats to all and thank you for representing Berkeley Optometry so well!
