Berkeley faculty, students, new doctors, and alumni were represented at Optometry’s Meeting, hosted this year in Phoenix, Arizona!
This year was an AOA+ year, offering students and new doctors expanded opportunities for career development through programs focused on practice management, leadership cultivation, residency preparation, and career exploration. The meeting also included the AOA House of Delegates, where leaders discussed governance, advocacy, and key issues shaping the future of the optometric profession.
Dr. Celia Yeung attended as Berkeley’s AOA faculty liaison, while Helen Wu represented AOSA, the student branch of the association. The event provided a valuable opportunity for Berkeley community members to connect, learn, and engage with the broader profession.
