Congratulations to fourth-year optometry student Baldemar Torres: recipient of the 2024 National Vision NOSA scholarship! Baldemar was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by National Vision, Inc. as part of the 2024 NOSA program.
The scholarship program awarded a total of $7,000 to three optometry students, including Baldemar. The recipients “were selected based on their thoughtful assessments of optometrists’ role in ensuring affordable access to eye care amid economic challenges.”
