The Doctor of Optometry Admissions Cycle Is Now Open!
Application Closes December 2nd, 2022.

Are you interested in becoming an Optometrist? The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry is now accepting applications for the Fall 2023 Doctor of Optometry (OD) admissions cycle. We conduct a rolling admissions process. This means that as completed applications are received, applicants will be contacted about invitations to interview. Applicants may expect to receive their admissions decision within four weeks of completing the interview process.

New for this application cycle: standardized tests are optional for students applying to our Doctor of Optometry program. For students who choose to submit test scores as a component of the application, we prefer the OAT although we also accept the MCAT, PCAT, DAT or GRE general exam.

For more information regarding the application process, we encourage you to visit the pages linked below.
