Advanced upper-division courses in these subjects may be substituted for any of the lower division courses listed below. Courses have to be taken for a letter grade. Courses for which AP credit was received may be counted as long as they are listed on your college transcript. - Biochemistry (Lecture only, Lab preferred): CHEM 356 or CHEM 350 (preferred)
- General Biology (Lecture and Lab): BIOL 105, 105L, 106, 106L
- General Physics (Lecture and Lab): PHYS 100, 100L, 101, 101L or PHYS 110, 110L, 210, 210L
- Anatomy (Lecture only, Lab strongly recommended): BIOL 113, 114 or BIOL 365, 366
- Human Physiology (Lecture and Lab): BIOL 115, 116 or BIOL 320, 321
- Microbiology(Lecture only, Lab optional) : BIOL 134 or BIOL 341
- Calculus: MATH 109 or Equivalent
- Statistics: MATH 101 or MATH 102 (preferred)
- Reading & Comp: RHET 110, 120 or Equivalent
