Post and View Job Openings
This new system, which is free for alums and students to use, is searchable via location and job type (temp, permanent, etc.), and uses an algorithm to automatically “push” available jobs to seekers that match the qualifications, and also pushes an applicant’s info to job posters (providers) if they meet the stated criteria for the listed position. The tool was created by the Southern College of Optometry, with input from other ASCO schools. Another huge benefit is that as school’s and their alums begin to use the tool, there will be a larger pool of both seekers and available positions from across the country.
To use the portal, job seekers and providers both need to register and set up an account (it’s free!).
Please note that we don’t list jobs for support personnel, such as opticians, lab technicians, interns, office managers, receptionists, or sales/marketing staff. We list openings for ODs only. We also do not list equipment for sale or spaces that are for lease.Post or Browse Jobs
