If you’re an easy-going, fun, and energetic eye doctor who loves patient care and thrives in a modern, tech-forward environment, we’d love to hear from you. Our practice has a viral social media presence, attracting patients from all over the world. While we specialize in prism glasses, vision therapy, and specialty contact lens fitting, you don’t need prior experience in these areas—though if you’re interested, we’re more than happy to teach you!

We’re looking for someone with experience or interest in myopia control, ocular disease, and specialty contact lens fitting, but we’re open to new grads with the right attitude and a passion for learning. This is a part-time position (2-3 days a week) with potential for full-time hours or even a future partnership for the right candidate. Saturday hours are negotiable, offering flexibility in your schedule.

Duties:
Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.
Prescribe corrective lenses, including specialty contact lenses, and other treatments as necessary.
Educate patients about proper eye care, the importance of regular check-ups, and prevention strategies, including myopia control techniques.
Utilize up-to-date technology for advanced diagnostic testing.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patients’ overall health.
Stay current with advancements in optometry practices and technology.
Assist in managing various ocular conditions and provide treatment recommendations.
Use medical coding for billing as required.
Engage in sales activities related to eyewear products and services, helping patients choose the best options.
Ensure patient safety and comfort by applying aseptic techniques during examinations.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state license to practice optometry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and systems relevant to optometry.
Experience or interest in specialty contact lens fitting, myopia control, and ocular disease is highly preferred.
Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus.
Comfortable with modern technology and systems—our practice is fully equipped with the latest in eye care technology.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
A positive, energetic attitude with a love for patient interaction.
Availability to work 2-3 days per week (with Saturday hours negotiable).
Why Join Us?
Modern, well-equipped practice with cutting-edge technology to support your work.
Fun, easy-going team—our staff handles pretesting, so you can focus on patient care!
Flexible, part-time schedule that can evolve into full-time, with the potential for partnership down the road.
