We are searching for a kind-hearted, relational Doctor of Optometry who has strong diagnostic skills. We are searching for a full-time OD but are willing to talk with candidates who prefer part-time roles. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and detail oriented. The incoming doctor must be an effective communicator and demonstrate patient safety and well-being as a top priority. As a well-regarded practice we value work-life balance and are open to different work arrangements depending on the practice needs and the individual applicant’s goals.
The incoming Optometrist will get exposure to a diverse patient population in a great community. Main responsibilities would include performing comprehensive eye exams in an efficient manner, interpreting various diagnostic tests, as well as managing, preventing or helping to control our patient’s ocular health. If the incoming doctor would like to offer specialty contact lenses or help start a dry eye clinic, that would be wonderful!
Must be licensed to work in NY State.
