Primary eye care and also Medical Optometry are routine. OD is to do screenings for glaucoma, AMD, red eyes, optic nerve and retinal abnormalities with OCT and imaging, and would refer consultations to MD’s and specialists as helpful. Co-managing and referring cataract surgery patients is routine. The practice’s expertise is refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, LASIK and PRK, and eyelid surgery. They have the Light Delivery Device for the Light Adjustable Lens. They also have advanced diagnostic equipment (OCT, CellCheck, Visual Field, Pentacam). Each patient has seen a refracting technician for the eye pressure, ocular motility, confrontation visual field, refraction suite evaluation and prescription, and pupils checked. The patients are dilated and ready for examination. Pleasant, small-town atmosphere with no long commutes. Accommodating Mediterranean climate offers almost 300 days of sunshine a year.
