Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, and management of patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in anatomy knowledge, patient care, and optical practices, along with excellent communication skills to educate patients about their eye health.
Location is outfitted with updated equipment, retinal camera, and EHR. Staff will handle all pre-testing.
Ask about the possibility of Telemedicine and hybrid work model! 3 days minimum in office patient care and remaining day(s) patient care can be performed from home.

Responsibilities
– Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
– Diagnose and treat various ocular conditions, providing appropriate management plans.
– Prescribe corrective lenses and other optical aids as needed.
– Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
– Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular check-ups.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Assist with sales of eyewear products and provide recommendations based on patient needs.
Requirements
– Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
– Valid state license to practice optometry.
– Strong knowledge of anatomy related to the visual system.
– Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
