Then, you are invited to join the team at the Eye Care Center of Napa Valley, a comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry practice with three convenient locations across Napa Valley. Our board-certified ophthalmologists and optometrists are highly skilled and experienced in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye disorders, and place clear, healthy vision as their top priority.
Use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. In your role, you will be conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and determining patients’ visual needs and ocular health using state of the art equipment such as latest generation equipment including OCT, OPTOS and PentaCam (with CSP software). You will be supported by an extraordinary team of technicians and opticians all working to ensure excellent vision and great customer service.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be a compassionate provider of quality patient eye care with a demonstrated ability to work with patients of all ages. Strong organization with attention to detail and demonstrated computer literacy. Ability to meet patient volume requirements and thrives in a team environment utilizing excellent communication skills with patients, peers and staff.
You must be a graduate of an accredited optometry program; licensed optometrist in the State of California and possess in-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment. Experience in an ophthalmology setting is preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be joining a team that is sincerely motivated and enthusiastic to provide excellent care throughout the Napa Valley.
Salary and Benefit Provisions
The Eye Care Center of Napa Valley is an energetic, face-pace, positive place to work with a very professional work environment designed for self-managed individuals capable of producing great work with little supervision. CE allowances, Association Dues and Med Mal coverage provided.
Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 – competitive, based on experience. In addition to the base salary, our Optometrists make up to 25% more of their base salary through a generous production bonus paid semi-annually.
