Eye MD Monterey offers an excellent opportunity to work in beautiful Monterey, CA with experienced and supportive staff. This position is Ideal for someone who likes to work in a close knit community a few blocks away from the beach, and to get to know their patients by name.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Practice full scope Optometry as per your license and California laws.
Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
Manage ocular disease as appropriate.
Work in a professional office with modern equipment and full support staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Optometry license with the State Board.
Excellent communication skills.
Prior experience ideally at least 2 years, not required.

Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time, read a computer screen for long periods of time, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs. Hand dexterity, and eye and hand coordination critical. Employee is subject to inside environmental conditions. Employee’s schedule may include after hour projects, as needed. Travel between practices, as needed.
