Compensation:
Negotiable

Position: Associate Optometrist, Temp, Per Diem

Primary Responsibilities:
– Lead ethical eye examinations with top-tier equipment and diagnostic methods.
– Medically address ocular diseases.
– Prescribe, fit, and fine-tune eyeglasses.
– Collaborate with optical associates, emphasizing patient education to boost optical sales.
– Suggest the best follow-up and care methods for patients.
Additional Tasks:
– Accurately fit and prescribe contact lenses.
– Guide patients about vision care and eye health.
– Cultivate strong doctor/patient bonds to enhance patient retention.
– Act as a mentor, leader, and positive contributor within the staff community.
– Play an active role in practice development while emphasizing accountability and results.
– Consistently uphold our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
– Adhere to company protocols and the optometric standard of care.

– Expertise in diagnostic testing and procedures, including but not limited to Optos, OCT, VF, and more.

Qualifications:
– Doctorate in Optometry from an accredited institution.
– Active California State Optometry License. (TX RX Amplified Glaucoma & Controlled Substance Registration mandatory)
– Fulfillment of state-required COPE approved hours for continuous education.

Physical Stipulations:
– Comfort with prolonged standing, sitting, and walking.
– Capability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
– Adherence to OSHA’s PPE guidelines, inclusive of COVID19 PPE.
