AAO OD to PhD Scholarship

Incoming Vision Science students receive scholarship from the American Academy of Optometry.

Congratulations to incoming Vision Science PhD students Andrea (Dre) FazioLiu, OD, FAAO and Clara Friedman, OD, on receiving a $45,000 award from the American Academy of Optometry’s OD to PhD Scholarship Program. Dr. FazioLiu has spent the past two years as a clinical research fellow in the Clinical Research Center and will officially join our Vision Science program this fall. Dr. Friedman is an OD graduate from the Class of 2025 and will also join our Vision Science program this fall. Congratulations to Drs. FazioLiu and Friedman!
