Our optometry graduates are trained to be primary eye and vision care providers of the 21st century; our residents are trained in the cutting-edge aspects of their chosen specialties; our vision science graduates will advance the knowledgebase of vision and eye care and the fundamental bases of vision and vision disorders. In doing so, they will advance the practice of clinical optometry and the prevention and remediation of sight-threatening disorders. Both clinical and vision science graduates will provide leadership in optometric and ophthalmic programs and at universities throughout the world.
