The First Annual Berkeley Conference on Translational Research
"
From Discovery to Application"
April 21, 2007 ~ School of Optometry ~ 489 Minor Hall ~ UC Berkeley
|
The conference will bring together faculty, scientists, fellows, students, and invited guests from academia and industry who are involved or interested in translational research. The focus will be on investigatons that have a "bench to bedside" aspect. Topics will be wide ranging — from discovery to its application in patients, encompassing ocular, neurological and other systemic diseases and infection, and presenting modern optical imaging, bioengineering, and molecular & cell biology techniques. New approaches to diagnosis and treatment developed in animal models or through human-based studies will be highlighted.
