Berkeley Optometry: Minor Addition / Eye Clinics

 

The University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry is located near the southeast corner of the UCB campus, housed in two buildings, Minor Hall and Minor Addition.

Minor Addition

Minor Addition: Completed in 1978, the building is a modernist concrete structure with woodbeam trim and substantial window bays providing an emphasis on open views. Minor Addition is home to the School of Optometry clinics, including the Meredith W. Morgan University Eye Center (Clinic), as well as administrative/staff rooms, and research laboratories and faculty offices.

 
The Meredith W. Morgan University Eye Center (Optometry Clinic) was dedicated on May 23, 1998. The remodeled clinic features attractive decor and efficiently designed patient-care areas. For more about the Optometry Clinic (including scheduling eyecare appointments), see Morgan Eye Center.

In addition to operating clinics in Minor Addition, Berkeley Optometry also operates an eyecare clinic in the Tang Center (Student Health Service.) The clinic includes examination and testing rooms and an eyewear center. See Tang Eye Center.
