Friday Visitation Program

If you are planning on applying to Berkeley Optometry, we encourage you to visit us! Every Friday, we offer student-led tours and an information session, followed by the opportunity to attend a Pre-Clinical class. Our Friday Visitation Program is coordinated by the Berkeley Optometry Ambassadors (BOA). Visitation programs for the Fall 2009 Semester will resume the week of September 7, 2009 and end on December 4, 2009.  Meet the BOAs! See BOA Bios and Contacts.

Schedule

Please arrive promptly at Minor Hall (School of Optometry), Room 397, by
9:30 AM for check-in. Here’s the schedule you can expect:

Unavailable Tour Dates

Tours will not be offered on the following Fridays due to holidays or mid-terms:

• October 16
• November 27
• More dates TBA

Reservations

Reservations are REQUIRED — please email us at optometry-admissions@berkeley.edu to reserve your Friday visit! Please put the Friday date you wish to visit in the subject header of your e-mail.

Suggested attire is business casual.

Again, meet in the Student Affairs Office in Room 397 of Minor Hall, which is the School of Optometry.

We unfortunately do not provide parking for those participating in the Friday Visitation Program. Please refer to the following link for public parking areas:

(Parking at any major University can be a challenge, so do allow yourself extra time!)
