Speaker Spotlight - Jimmy Bartlett, OD, D.Sc, FAAO

Jimmy D. Bartlett, OD, D.Sc, FAAO will present the keynote lecture titled “Are You Practicing 21st Century Therapeutics?”, and be the 2016 recipient of the Meredith Morgan Memorial Award.  He has published more than 240 papers along with the well-known textbook “Clinical Ocular Pharmacology” which is widely used in optometry schools around the country.  Following an illustrious 34-year career at the School of Optometry, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Bartlett retired from academia, and currently serves as President of PHARMAKON Group, an advisory service to the ophthalmic pharmaceutical industry.
