The Berkeley Practicum Keynote Speaker - The Karen Walker-Brandreth Lecture

John FlanaganJohn Flanagan, OD, PhD, FAAO, Dean and Professor of Optometry and Vision Science, School of Optometry, UC Berkeley, will be the Berkeley Practicum Keynote Speaker. Dean Flanagan began his appointment as dean of UCBSO in June 2014. His clinical and research interests include glaucoma management and basic mechanisms with research projects funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Glaucoma Research Society of Canada and the American Health Assistance Foundation. Dean Flanagan has published over 150 papers, 3 books and 10 chapters, and lectured internationally. His lecture, "Glaucoma: What We Know, How We Should Practice, and What the Future May Hold", will present valuable information and insight on glaucoma diagnosis and management, as well as possible directions for the future.
